Life is about perspective. Status doesn't define me...I define me. I leave the past in the past and the future in the savings. What matters is now, a beautiful present received every waking day. I am blessed and grateful to have a roof over my head, a place to sleep. and food to eat. I have two loving parents, a supportive extended family and, most importantly, I have Hoshi. What more do I need? Everyday is a blessing and I am celebrating every minute of it! My family and I live a very simple life, rich in experiences and adventures. The best days are yet to come! Life for me is an ongoing experience, spending less time in the past or future. I show up to the moment with full awareness and I make the best of the situation. No eyes, no problem. I use my ears to hear, my tongue to taste, my paws to feel, and my nose to smell. Rather than focusing on what I don't have, I appreciate what I do. I'm thriving and living life to the fullest with the cutest sidekick by my side. Everyday I strive to be the best version of myself! Be confident, be compassionate, be captivating! Most importantly, be your own kind of beautiful! "Where there is love there is life." -Ghandi

Hayabusa & I have a similar relationship to Hoshi & Zen. In 2009, I was diagnosed with a rare incurable muscle disease called sporadic Inclusion-Body Myositis (sIBM). In December of 2010, against my doctor & loved one's better judgement I got Hayabusa. He's my Zen. Because of him I thrive. Your blog reminds me where I need to be. You inspire me to live my life to the fullest. Today I wanted to wallow in self-pity but your blog reminded me to step back from that abyss & get back in the game. Thank you & may God & the Universe keep you. Aloha Pumehana, Jasmine & Hayabusa
